Understanding the problem from God's point of view:
Col. 1:24-27
; Jn. 17:23
; l Jn. 3:24
-The Holy Spirit is the personal
presence of Christ. Christ is within the believer in the person
of the Holy Spirit. We are not orphaned, without parental help
and not helpless. Jesus is with us to work out the trials and
temptations of life. The believer is made eternal by the eternal
presence of Christ within him. Jesus lives His life in the person
in all His fullness and meaning. Christ imparts the same kind
of life to the believer, a life that is abundant and eternal.
Hope:
2 Pet. 1:4
; 2 Cor. 1:21-22
; 2 Cor. 5:17-21
-Man cannot earn or
do enough righteousness to become perfect. Man's only hope is
Christ, for Christ alone is righteousness. Man's only hope to
be acceptable to God is to have Christ and man's only hope of
conquering death is to have Christ, His righteousness and perfection,
living within his body. Principles, ideas, position, rules, laws,
philosophies, institutions and religion will not save man, but
only a person: Jesus Christ.
Jn. 4:34-35 ; Heb. 6:1 ; Eccl. 9:10 . -Harvest is here now and we empowered by Christ within to do the works of Christ on earth and to live out the great teachings of Christ into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Gal. 4:4-6 ; l Jn. 4:13 ; lJn. 5:10-13 -When our hearts are knit together in love, our hearts will be strong, encouraged, braced, assured, confident and comforted. Once a person approaches God thru Jesus Christ, God places His Spirit within the person's heart and God's Spirit infuses strength, both assurance and confidence within the believer's heart.
Change:
l Cor. 1
:30Col. 2:3;Jam. 1:5; Hosea 6:3
-Jesus Christ is the
very embodiment of wisdom and understanding who confronted every
trial and problem in life and solved it. This wisdom and understanding
is hid in Christ and are there for us to seek and search out and
thereby to know Christ as the source and substance of our heart
and life.
Eph. 4:14 ; l Jn. 4:2-3 ; 2 Cor. 11:13-15 -We are to resist seduction and eception of false teachings, we may be beguiled, deceived, and led astray from Christ. All wisdom and knowledge exist in Christ and believers are to know that all truth is in Christ. They are to seek all truth in Christ and this by His life of righteousness which he lived and the way of sinlessness while He walked in the path of wisdom for the believer.
l Cor. 15:58 ; l Pet. 5:8-9 ; 2 Pet. 3:17 -Order and stedfastness, to persevere, to be unyielding, to never crack, give in, or back-up, discipline is the key to withstand false teachings.
2 Cor. 5:7
; l Jn. 1:7
; Rom. 6
:4Col. 2:6-7-We are to walk just as
we received Christ by faith. It is Christ's righteousness and
death that continues to cover our sins and make us acceptable
to God. Therefore, as mature people we walk in the Lord. We are
to be rooted and built-up in a continuous, unbroken communion
and fellowship with Christ, to be firm, stable, holding fast and
not letting go and to walk overflowing with thanksgiving for what
the Lord has done for us.
