Harbor Lights Summer Time News

We hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer as we are quickly approaching the fall season. It has been a record breaking summer for heat but alas, the children and grandchildren are back in school, football season is around the corner (so sorry Redskins fans for your preseason loss to the Ravens J) and Harbor Lights has enjoyed some memorable activities over the past few months. We are publishing this newsletter to catch everyone up on what we have been doing and provide the plans for the next few months so you can mark your calendars

First we wish to acknowledge the home going of a dear friend and long standing pillar in the faith, Norm Audi on August 24th. Norm is rejoicing in hearing our Lord say, “Well done good and faithful servant”.  As of this writing you can still sign his guest book online at the link below. Please continue to keep Suzie and the children in your prayers.

On July 10th a group of over 30 enjoyed a wonderful afternoon on a Gospel cruise in Baltimore harbor. The weather was rainy but the food and fellowship made the Son shine on us! We are so happy that Norm and Suzie were able to join us for that outing. The memory of that day and Norm standing at the railing in the rain, posing for a picture with Pastor Tootie and Harry leaves us with smiles.

In August, we enjoyed a social get together at CheeBurger CheeBurger in Burtonsville. The service from our waitress was wonderful and once again we had a fun time catching up with one another and continuing to build relationships.

Now that everyone is caught up with our summer activities, below are some dates you will want to put on your calendar.

From Randy Clark: “The Voice of the Apostles conference is aimed at empowering you with a sincere desire to know God and experience his love in a deeper way. For the second year in a row, we will have the entire Revival Alliance represented at Voice of the Apostles as well as some dear friends, ready to guide you into a deeper understanding as to how God is moving across the world, and how He wants to move through you. It is my hope that attendees receive a new revelation of God’s call on their lives, and that they will be equipped to carry it out.”
