Letter from the Dean.

September 2010 - Fall Session

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

Greetings. I trust that you are enjoying the summer and that you are participating in the expansion of God’s Kingdom in your own unique way. It is a pleasure to write you this letter as the Dean of Immanuel’s Bible Institute of the Nations. We are approaching the beginning of the Fall Session. I continue to be proud of our students who have been diligent to study with the express goal of seeking personal spiritual growth and consequently making a contribution to spreading the gospel around the world. Education is power, and an enlightened and spiritually grounded saint is an awesome asset to the Kingdom of God.

The Bible says that believers should study to show themselves approved as saints who rightly interpret and practically apply the principles of God’s truth. When Jesus was being tried by Pilate, the Roman official asked him “What is truth?” Truth can be found in God’s eternal Word, and a theologically sound and Biblical based education provides the pathway to gaining deep insights for living, which can be expressed daily in our personal lives and acts of service. Logos Christian College and Graduate School, through Immanuel’s Bible Institute of the Nations provides the opportunity to be receive such an education at a reasonable cost. Finally, I would like to ask for prayer as the IBIN Committee continues to seek the face of God and plan for the Fall semester. Prayer is powerful, and as we pray as a corporate body I believe the Spirit of God will reveal the mind of the Lord to us in a special way. It is true that the pursuit of education is a life-long endeavor and requires time, effort and constant determination. Nonetheless, the rewards of having a balanced, wholesome, Biblically grounded theological education far outweigh all the hard work and sacrifice it takes to accomplish the objective.

May the Lord continue to guide you as you seek His will and strive to fulfill God’s awesome plan and purpose for your life.
