by Grace Khasar Prayerfully read Luke 1:37; Malachi 3:1; Acts 2:17. There was a song that many of us who grew up in Sunday School used to sing that said, “My God is so BIG, so STRONG and so MIGHTY, there’s nothing my God cannot do (for you)!” A simple song, with simple hand motions to get stuck in your head like any good children’s song does. However, the words are a great reminder for any age. We serve a magnificent God for whom nothing is impossible! The Bible is filled with many accounts of God showing His creation in the natural doing supernatural things when He gets involved. We have been promised that He is the same yesterday, today and forever… so why do we continue to pray small prayers? When we surrender everything and allow God to be God, He has promised to pour out the kind of blessing that we will not have room enough to hold. So, let’s test Him! May we: believe that God is BIGGER than any giant, STRONGER than any bad habit, MIGHTIER than any man-made blockade, and there is NOTHING that He cannot do (for you)! Let us pray for the kind of Revival that has our sons and daughters prophesying, our young men of Immanuel’s seeing visions, and our old dreaming dreams. Believe and say, “Challenge accepted!” Heavenly Father, there is nothing that is too big, crazy or impossible for you. Forgive me for praying small prayers to you, a BIG God. Help me believe in faith that you can exceed abundantly more than I can ask or imagine. May I remember what you have done before and stand firm, convinced that you can do it again! Challenge accepted. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. PRAYER FOCUS • Pray for faith to believe that You can change this nation for You. • Pray for the courage to put hope again in the promises in Your Word. • Pray for a boldness to not be ashamed among our neighbors, families and coworkers.
